Worst Ex Ever Season 2 is the third installment of the anthology true crime documentary franchise Worst Ever.

After the monster success of the first season of Worst Ex Ever, we really wanted to find a way to intensify the animation in season 2 and become an even more integral part of the stories.

The team at Little Blackstone was again tasked with producing the animated reenactments for each episode, in intense detail and styled realism. This time, the aim was to elevate the animation style without it looking different from the past season, both in design and movement. The goal was to ensure we did justice to the stories, respecting those who had to live through the real-life horrors of the episodes.

A team of 80+ animation artists & producers brought this 2D/3D hybrid series to life.
